Location! Location! Location! This is a lovely building with so much character throughout the facility. There are multiple security (card entry) doors from the public areas to the hallways & the rooms. It is very safe. The room was spacious & clean with a large bathroom. The bar food menu was good, but little offerings for vegetarians. That said, the fish & chips were ok. A dozen pump beers with something for everyone. Breakfast was very good & served to you from a hotplate.

Everything was pretty neat in this hotel. Some of the staff were super nice. However, one or two of them were a little condescending, so I thought real class was more likely to be found at 5 stars and real charm at 3 stars. But that aside, the breakfast was delicious once you understood how everything worked. Once you knew that, the waiters became friendlier. The atmosphere tried to be a little snobby but fortunately didn't succeed. The room itself was very nice.

The property itself is beautiful inside. I didn’t know it was as oldy worldy as it is and honestly wish I’d had a better look around and tried some of the facilities within. Great location, very easy to park in and central for everything. Staff were polite and friendly, couldn’t do more to help.

Beautiful interior , lovely reception and bar area, room itself was lovely , spacious and maintained to a good standard aside from the A/C. Room itself and bathroom were lovely , comfortable bed , a large TV , a desk and comfortable chair. Nice warm lighting within the room

Loved the age of the hotel and the conversion to a bar/ hotel is really sympathetic to the age And style of the old coaching inn. Rooms were comfortable , beds especially so. Staff were really helpful and during correspondence before my visit they were Really patient and helpful.

Location- right next to the main shopping centre, great powerful shower, good sized room, room was warm, lots of plug sockets, basic condiments on arrival, quiet side of the hotel(rear facing car park). excellent late checkout time of 12pm.Inviting lobby- old fashioned and homely whilst also classy looking.Easy checkout.

Lovely hotel. A touch if class. We felt really spoilt. Had a lovely afternoon tea and booking was easy. Staff very helpful. Parking was very convenient to the hotel but accessed from a different road and the one way system got us confused a couple of times. Straight out of the front door to the town centre- perfect for a Christmas or any shopping trip. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food lovely. The food and potential choice was excellent though. Would go again.

Beautiful decor in this 17th century hotel, we had dinner which was excellent. They do a roast dinner every day and it's table service in the bar. Good location to walk around peterborough city centre and recommend going to the cathedral which is a short walk from hotel. Plenty of space in car park.

The property felt secure. Absolutely beautiful building inside. The rooms are large, beds comfortable and you get 2 pillows each. Room had iron, ironing board, hairdryer and fan. Breakfast was fantastic, with a good selection. We also ate in the main bar in the evening, the prices were reasonable with good size portions, would recommend the steak and veg pie! Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is easy to find with own car park
